Common Ground is live — search for anyone on FlixKeep and get instant, fairness-scored picks for both of you, no invite or acceptance needed. SmartLane's Flixkeep belt is now FK Curated, with a DNA match badge and your archetype's own sigil on every card, and Your Picks got the same treatment plus a fix so its DNA-fallback fill actually reaches a full row instead of stalling early. Tonight greets you by name, and its reasoning is both more legible and held to a real quality bar — a live bug where cards kept naming the wrong DNA archetype, or naming the right one but saying nothing else, is fixed at the code level, not just prompted around.

01 · Common Ground

One movie, worth both of you.

Search for anyone on FlixKeep, and get three shared picks — scored so a movie only counts if you'd BOTH like it, never averaged. No pairing, no invite to accept — v1 is instant.

Fair by construction. Each pick's score is the lower of the two people's scores, not the average — a movie only makes the list if it genuinely works for both of you.

Reasoned for each of you, by name. When you share a DNA archetype, one reason explains why it's a match for both. When you don't, each of you gets your own reason, tied to your own taste — not the same sentence twice.

Together mode, on the way. A consent-based, pairing-first version — invite someone, they accept, then you get a shared room — is built server-side and shown as an upcoming card. Instant search is what ships today.

02 · SmartLane

FK Curated, and honestly labeled.

The Flixkeep belt is now FK Curated — every card shows a DNA match badge with your own archetype sigil, and Your Picks gets the same treatment plus an actual fix for a row that used to stall early.

Your archetype, on every pick. FK Curated cards carry a "FK Curated · [sigil] DNA {match%}" badge — the sigil is the same per-archetype icon used on your DNA page, not a generic logo.

Your Picks, held to the same bar. Captured cards now show their real source plus a DNA match badge too — "Manual Search · [sigil] DNA 92%" — and DNA-fallback fill is labeled "Saved Picks," not conflated with FK Curated's own badge.

The empty-slot bug, fixed. A stale cap meant Your Picks could show empty placeholder slots even when plenty more DNA-ranked candidates existed to fill them. Verified live: a lane that used to stop at 7 filled cards + 5 empty slots now fills all 12.

03 · Tonight

Reasoning you can actually read.

A greeting, a legibility fix, and a real bug fix underneath the reasoning itself — not just a prompt tweak.

Hi, by name. The Tonight headline now greets you by first name before "Movies picked for you, for tonight."

Why Tonight, readable. The reasoning label and text on supporting cards were too small and too dim to read comfortably — both are now bigger and brighter.

The wrong-archetype bug, root-caused. Cards were occasionally naming a different DNA archetype than the one shown everywhere else in the app — traced to two different archetype-resolution paths disagreeing, not model randomness, and fixed by making them agree.

The "label drop" bug, fixed in code. A reasoning sentence that just named your archetype with no real substance ("...speaks to your kinetic mind") survived two rounds of prompt-only fixes. It's now caught and replaced by a deterministic guard, not a request to the model to behave.

04 · Under the hood

Housekeeping.

A missing header, fixed. The capture flow (paste a link, share from another app) was silently missing the whole app header and nav — same root cause as an earlier Common Ground bug, now handled the same way.
